Fiona Stuart’s past is not only glittering when it comes to horses. She also set up the Tullochan Trust, in memory of her late father (one of the most highly regarded soldiers and one of the most decorated soldiers in WW2, Brigadier Pearson). Here she transformed the lives of hundreds of children in the local region, and, almost single-handedly drove the drug gangs from the Vale. As such, she worked tirelessly to drive the ambitions, confidence, and belief systems of impoverished children. As such she removed the demand and supply chain infrastructure for the street gangs. And she was hugely popular with now grown adults, recognising just what she had done for them as kids and how she had turned around their lives to bright futures.
