Welcome to Tullochan Stables, Gartocharn. Based just half an hours drive from Glasgow, set in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park near Balloch. This exceptional horse livery yard is just 8 mins from Drymen and Alexandria, where you can enjoy assisted DIY, full livery and part livery options, as well as training. Furthermore, horses get full-year turnout, which in turn creates very happy horses. And, Tullochan is noted for its happy horses! And a happy horse is a healthy horse. So, why not join our Stirlingshire livery yard, near Drymen, Alexandria and Gartocharn from just £43 per week.
Here at Tullochan Stables, we enjoy 25 stables, spacious stables. Most are horse stables, plus we have a few pony-sized boxes. Both sizes offer exceptionally spacious accommodation for your four-legged friends to rest and relax. Here at Tullochan Stables, we offer flexible options to suit your individual needs. As well as spacious accommodation and flexibility, we enjoy an all-weather, floodlit 20 x 60 arena, with a selection of jumps, poles and training blocks.
Hay, haylage and shavings, or sawdust), can be included in your livery package offered. Or, alternatively, we offer our liveries space to store your own feeding and bedding. We have multiple tack rooms and feed storage areas. Also, we offer trailer and lorry storage in our car park. At Tullochan Stables, we enjoy a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, where our liveries make friends for life. Most of our liveries have been here long term and people are always on hand to help.

Our liveries often enjoy the school together for some fun jumping courses or training for a real (or pretend) dressage test. Or you can school away on your own day or night.

Furthermore, being within the National Trossachs Park, you are spoiled with stunning views and an array of hacking. Here you can hack around the local fields, where we have permission from our local farmers to enjoy our local countryside. This offers us a number of routes of varying lengths. Please note that there are some gates!
You can also hack along country lanes and back roads along to the shores of Loch Lomond to splash in the water and absorb the spectacular scenery of the National Park.
Our liveries hack out together most weekends if you are looking for group company. Or hack alone and explore to your heart’s content!

Assisted DIY includes feeding morning and night and putting in and out each day mid-week. At weekends we do the morning feed and turnout/bring in, but not afternoons
Tullochan Stables also offer options if you want to go DIY at weekends and or provide your own feeding or not. Our livery yard is just 8 minutes drive from Drymen, 5 minutes from Alexandria and 1 minute from Gartocharn.
